THE STUDENT WILL REFINE TO A HIGHLY ADVANCED LEVEL HIS SPECIALISED SKILLS IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE INTERMEDIATE AND INTERCULTURAL DYNAMICS RELATING TO THE LITERATURES AND CULTURES OF GERMAN-SPEAKING COUNTRIES, AS WELL AS ITS CULTURAL GEOGRAPHIES AND THE PROBLEMS OF CULTURAL IDENTITY, WITH AN IN-DEPTH FOCUS ON THE PROBLEMS OF THE DIDACTICS OF LITERATURE. HE/SHE WILL ALSO ACQUIRE A HIGH LEVEL OF ABILITY TO INDEPENDENTLY REFINE HIS/HER THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL SKILLS, AS WELL AS TO CRITICALLY USE THE TOOLS OF PHILOLOGICAL AND CRITICAL-LITERARY ANALYSIS FOR THE INTERPRETATION OF CULTURAL PHENOMENA, IN PARTICULAR OF CROSS-CULTURAL TRANSLATION PROCESSES AND THE DYNAMICS OF INTERMEDIARY COMMUNICATION.
