The course has the following objectives:
• encourage critical reflection on the meanings that the human body takes in today's culture, is deeply affected by biomedical science from the cult of appearance.
• outline an ethics body, as an effort of interpretation of the dialectic-suffer and act as the search for the meaning of health and suffering.
• propose a pedagogy of the body, as a balance between desire and responsibility, between autonomy and relationships with others.
