Acquisition of active and passive communication skills, written and oral, and the ability to differentiate independently, in production and analysis, different levels and registers of communication in complex texts (written and oral). Development of advanced skills in syntactic structures and lexical endowment in accordance with level C1 described by the 'European reference framework for languages'. Good knowledge of the phraseology and cultural-historical dimension of English vocabulary. Ability to orientate oneself in the fundamental features of linguistic diachrony.
