THE STUDENT WILL ACQUIRE SPECIALISED AND APPLIED SKILLS IN THE METHODOLOGIES OF ANALYSING TEXTS AND LITERARY PHENOMENA OF THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING AREA OF AMERICA IN THEIR TRANSCULTURAL DIMENSION, ALSO IN RELATION TO THE PROBLEMS OF THE DIDACTICS OF LITERATURE. HE/SHE WILL ALSO REFINE HIS/HER ABILITY TO USE AUTONOMOUSLY AND PROBLEMATICALLY THE MOST UP-TO-DATE THEORETICAL TOOLS FOR AN IN-DEPTH CULTUROLOGICAL AND LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF LITERARY TEXTS AND PHENOMENA, AS WELL AS OF THE INTERRELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN LITERARY LANGUAGE AND THAT OF OTHER FORMS OF EXPRESSION, ALSO WITH REGARD TO THE PROBLEMS OF LITERATURE DIDACTICS.
