Acquisition of active and passive communicative skills, written and oral, related to the production, reception and analysis of simple 'texts' (written and oral), acquisition of further skills in syntactic structures and lexical endowment, in accordance with level B2 described by the 'European reference framework for languages'. Fundamental features of linguistic diachrony, also at diatopic and diastratic level. Basic elements of translation theory, with its pragmatic and textual linguistics implications. Ability to learn the use of the main tools (lexicons) for translation, development and exercise of applied knowledge in translation practice.
