Acquisition of active and passive communicative skills, written and oral, related to the production, reception and analysis of simple 'texts' (written and oral), acquisition of further skills in syntactic structures and lexical endowment, in accordance with level B2 described by the 'European reference framework for languages'. Acquisition of the basic elements of translation theory with its pragmatic and textual linguistics implications. Training in the use of the main tools (lexicons) for translation; development and exercise of knowledge applied in translation practice on various textual typologies.
