ANGLO-AMERICAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE I
(objectives)
Acquisition of an in-depth knowledge of the history of literature and culture in the English-speaking area of America, with particular regard to cultural and literary geography, colonization processes, and the phenomena of exile and literature of migrants and ethnic, religious and gender minorities. The student will also acquire a good competence in analysis techniques and methodologies of critical-literary and philological research, through the study of texts to deepen the thematic, formal, intertextual and performative aspects. The student will also acquire knowledge related to the main points of reference of the theoretical-methodological debate and the ability to argue in a critical form on the issues and problems dealt with.
