ENGLISH LITERATURE I
(objectives)
Acquisition of a good knowledge of the history of literature and culture of English-speaking countries from the Victorian period (1830) to the present day, with a focus on cultural and literary geographies. The student will also acquire a good knowledge of the methods of analysis and of critical-literary and philological research, through the study of texts with in-depth study of the thematic, formal, intertextual and intermediate aspects, as well as in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the theoretical-methodological debate and the ability to argue critically on the issues and problems dealt with.
