Acquisition of a thorough knowledge of the history of French literature and culture of the classical period (1600-1715). The student will also acquire a good knowledge of analytical techniques and methodologies of critical-literary and philological research, through the study of texts with in-depth study of thematic, formal and intertextual aspects.
