Curriculum

Andrea Filpa (b. 1956), associate professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture, Roma Tre University (Italy). Lecturer at the Faculdade de Arquitectura e Planeamento Fisico at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Maputo, Mozambique (1991-1994) and at the School of Architecture in the University of Camerino (1995-2008). Consultant of National Basin Authorities (planning for hydraulic risk reduction) and other public bodies (Landscape Planning, Ecological Network) Consultant for public bodies, supervisor of the Territorial Plan of the Province of Siena and the Municipal Plans of Siena, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia and Chiusi. Member of the scientific board of Blue-Ap Project and of the SNAC (Italian Adaptation Strategy to Climate Change), participates in the Scientific Committee of WWF - Italy NGO Current research activities regard the matching of environmental and landscape issues in urban and territorial planning as well as climate adaptation trends in politics and urban management.
