Curriculum

Luca Pallotta received the Laurea Specialistica degree (cum laude) in telecommunication engineering in 2009 from the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and telecommunication engineering in 2014 from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. From July 2019 he is non-tenured Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering at Università degli Studi Roma Tre, Roma ,Italy. Actually he is a member of the Signal Processing for Telecommunications and Economics (SP4TE) laboratory at Università degli Studi Roma Tre. His research interest lies in the field of statistical signal processing, with emphasis on radar signal processing, radar targets classification, and polarimetric radar/SAR. He is a senior member of the IEEE. Dr. Pallotta won the Student Paper Competition at the IEEE Radar Conference 2013. He is Associate Editor for IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (JSTARS). He has got the National Scientific Qualification (art.16 of the law 30 December 2010, n.240) as University Associate Professor for competition sector 09/F2 (Telecommunication)
