Curriculum
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering of Roma Tre University. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor with the Mississippi State University (Starkville, MS, USA). I received a PhD in Computer Science and Automation Engineering in 2015 from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". I obtained the national qualification to associate professor in 2020 in the Computer Science area (sector 01/B1), and in 2021 in the Information Processing Systems area (sector 09/H1). My research interests include: autonomic computing, self-protecting systems, cloud computing, intrusion detection.
I have co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in major outlets in Computer Science, Software Engineering and related disciplines, receiving more than 480 citations with an h-index of 11 according to Google Scholar. My papers are published in the proceedings of renowned international conferences such as ICAC, ICSOS, and ICWS, and in top joirnals including: IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, ACM Transactions on Adaptive and Autonomous Systems, Elsevier Future Generation Computer Systems, ranked rispectively as Q1, Q2, Q1 by by Scimago Journal Ranking.
I am very active in service activities. I am the co-chair of the 4th International Workshop on Self-Protecting Systems (SPS), co-located with IEEE ACSOS, and I have been co-chair of the same even for the past three editions. I am associate editor of Springer Cluster Computing, and a member of the Review Board of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems. Moreover, I regularly serve as a reviewer for prestigious international journals, including: IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, ACM Computing Surveys, Elsevier Journal of Information Security and Applications.
