Curriculum

Dr. Valeria Scala (female), PhD in Plant Pathology, is researcher in Plant Pathology at the CRA-PAV. Her main research interests are related to uncover the lipid signals at the basis of the cereal - mycotoxigenic fungi interaction and how these contribute to transcriptional reprogram the host as well as the pathogen. She got a Marie Curie Fellow and national and international awards. She was speaker in different international congress and was in the scientific committee of the Fusarium workshop during the 13th European Conference on fungal genetics. V. Scala has published different peer-reviewed papers (Scopus).
