Curriculum

Profile Currently I’m a software developer working on artificial intelligence applications in the biomedical field. I’m also collaborating with Roma Tre University on the application of adaptive algorithms for time series analysis to environmental noise affecting the Virgo detector, and to atmospheric data in general. Background In February 2018 I’ve completed a PhD in Physics at Roma Tre University, where I’ve developed a methodological approach for time series analysis. My background is in Theoretical Physics, with a focus on particle physics and computational fluid dynamics. The tool developed during my PhD (MTsA) has been applied for event screening categorisation of radionuclides dataset of the International Monitoring System, along with the dataset of meteorological parameters, in the framework of an agreement between Roma Tre University and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) - United Nations (Vienna). I’ve also developed an open source Python package for fluctuations analysis (fathon), and I’m currently working on tools making use of adaptive and fractal time series analysis methodologies. I’ve translated in Python a Matlab code (pytvfemd), to be integrated in a tool aimed at mitigating scattered light noise affecting Virgo interferometer data.
