PRESENTATION THROUGH 3D DIGITAL MODELS OF THE SPATIAL GENESIS OF CONICAL PROJECTIONS AS THE PROJECTION or, equivalently, FLAT SECTIONS OF A CONE ; DEFINITION OF EACHCONIC CURVE AS GEOMETRIC LOCUS; ANALYSIS AND STUDY OF THE CHARACTERISTIC PARAMETER THROUGH GRAPHIC METHODS AND ANALYTICAL METHODS. PARAMETRIC AND CARTESIAN FORMULATION OF CONIC CURVES; CONSTRUCTION AND USE OF MACHINES TO DRAW CONIC CURVES. FOR EACH CURVE STUDENTS WILL ASSEMBLE AT LEAST ONE MACHINE. OTHER TYPES OF CURVES: CAUSTIC, cycloid, SPIRALS. STUDY AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE RELATED MACHINE. STUDY OF THE USE OF DRAWING MACHINES FOR TRACKING THE CURVE ON ITALIAN CONSTRUCTION YARDS DURING 1800.
